Really great service, friendly staff, and good food and beer. For us it is important that places can accommodate our GSD. These folks love dogs and opened the lower deck just for us.

Nice location near live music. Service was a little slow but food is great.

Located in a touristy location in Summerside the Deckhouse has indoor and outdoor seating with a nautical feel (obviously) that overlooks the harbour with beautiful views. The menu is manageable and offers something for everyone. Fresh seafood and local beers that pair well with everything. Fully recommend stopping by if you are on the island for a visit.

My family of 5 ate here and our food was delicious. The fish and chips were the best I’ve ever had.My son loved his shrimp tacos. Everything is fresh and yummy. If you eat outside, the view is gorgeous.

This restaurant was amazing. We told them we would be coming with a dog and they had a special area at the back outside their restaurant where we could sit with our dog and enjoy the food. The food was amazing and decently priced. Waiting staff were all friendly.

Excellent Clam Chowder - not weirdly flavoured to be unique!! Yum!! Wonderful sweet potato fries (and not greasy, just perfect) with the best dipping sauce for them that I have ever had! I usually don't like the dipping sauce for sweet potato fries. The Garden salad was delicious and unique because they also added strawberries and dried cranberries to it, which worked very well surprisingly with Ranch dressing! The servers were smiling a lot! Nice kind attentive service! Lucas was excellent!!Fabulous view!! Don't miss this one! The other side of the restaurant likely had an even greater view because it overlooked a large body of water, but I wanted to look at the cute shops instead. The Fish Cakes were sadly awful. They tasted like they made them with pancake batter. Yuck! My hubby had the same opinion. If you doused them in a lot of lemon juice, then it wasn't that noticeable.I would go there again for the delicious Clam Chowder, Garden Salad, and sweet potato fries.

Small portions on lobster. Was asking $27 for 1lb. lobster so that was a no. Got the Lobster BLT, small portion. Decent drinks. Management needs to work on people skills.... arguing with staff on the floor, a no no.

Nice cozy spot in the tourist area of Summerside. Lots of staff to wait on you so service was pretty good. I had the mussels and a drink and it was under $20. Nice spot, I've been back a couple times since.

Tasty haddock burger and mashed potatoes, enjoyed on the rooftop patio looking out over the water. Great place to chill and enjoy drinks under the sun.

Popped in for dinner. Cool veiw, neat decor. Food was good, service was fairly quick, friendly. All good things. Would recommend.

Overall the place is great, the shakes are a definite standout... But I would avoid the nachos. The recipe kinda sucks, it was 90% tortilla chip and bland as heck. But everything else was bomb.

Always a great experience. Eating on the deck is great everytime with that breeze cutting through. Tried the Deckhouse Club, the new maple chili sauce is delicious! Perfect with groups of 4 or fewer, but an overall nice location!

The Deckhouse is our favourite restaurant in Summerside. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a great deal to choose from on the menu. Their Milkshakes almost look too good to drink. They are a little on the pricey side at approximately 7 dollars each, but are topped with such sweet goodies like cotton candy, Carmel popcorn and donut holes. They are my kids must order. The fish and chips, lobster BLT, curry mussels and chicken fingers and poutine are among our favourite choices. There are 2 outdoor patios. One of them being directly over the water. Highly recommend!

We motorcycled to the Deckhouse for lunch and we very much enjoyed the food and a cold beer. This is a nice place to walk around and enjoy the view of the boats, harbor and shops.

We had fantastic service and fantastic food. A great spot to take in some beautiful views (we sat upstairs on the deck). Our server was great - answered all our questions, taught me how to eat lobster, and was very accommodating for the fact that we had a vegan eater as well. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Summerside!

The food here is very good! It's a pretty long wait to get your food. So keep that in mind! The customers were very consistent from what I saw. It was a pretty busy place, so it must be a hot spot for food. The view was nice if you get a chance to sit on the deck or by the windows facing the water. Check this place out!

Great service. Attentive. Tasty dish burger and really nice salad. Dressing a bit too sweet for my taste, but overall great. View of the marina with plexiglass across the spindles so you don't need to worry about it being too breezy.

I absolutely love this place! Wonderful fresh food and huge servings. Pleasant staff, great beer. Fun atmosphere. Great place for a quick bite and a pint!

Burger I got wasn't anything to write home about, but the views are nice.

I enjoyed my meal and dessert. Excited to go back when the birthday cake milkshake is back in the menu. Good view on deck nice atmosphere and good service.
